The ST 006 EMF (electromagnetic field) Detector is designed to detect and locate the sources of electromagnetic radiation from devices intended for the unauthorized obtaining of information (eavesdropping devices), such as:

These means primarily include the following:
radio microphones;
telephone retransmitters;
radio stethoscopes;
hidden video cameras equipped with a radio channel for transmitting information;
systems of spacial high-frequency radiation in the radio-frequency range;
systems for transmitting image from computer monitors using a radio channel;
radio beacons for tracking moving objects (people, vehicles, freights, etc.);
unauthorized operating cordless phones and radio stations;
unauthorized use of GSM and DECT cellular phones;

The ST 006 utilizes the principles of wideband detection of electric fields

The ST 006 receives radio signals in the range of 50 to 2,500 MHz, detects them and outputs them to the

16 segment LED level meters and as an audio signal to the built-in speaker.

The ST 006 also displays the detection of GSM and DECT signals.

Mode of acoustic feedback is available.

LED level meter is displays the level two type of signals: the average amplitude of the detected signal and signal's peak values.

In addition the LED level meter is used to control of battery and set level of audio feedback.
